Every roast is a manual, artisinal craft—tailored to the customer’s palate—that reflects the unique qualities of each particular coffee, developing a three-fold harmony between acidity, sweetness, and aftertaste.
A traditional roasting drum with flame is not employed.
Using clean electricity, a “fluid bed” of heated air lofts and toasts the coffee seeds. This environmentally friendly method produces roasted coffee that is superior in terms of evenness, as well as flavor.

Below is a general guide to our roast levels. Use this guide to help identify how you would like your coffee roasted.

Light — enhances sweetness in acidity
Medium/City — enhances sweetness in body
Dark/Vienna — enhances sweetness in aftertaste
Darker/French — lessens sweetness, adds pungency

The adventurous and/or discerning coffee drinker is encouraged to try the same coffees at different roast profiles, to achieve the most value out of purchases.
